Speaker Bios

Min. Marcia Walker


Marcia Walker is passionate about the things of God and lives out her faith in a real and intentional way.  She is especially dedicated to ministering to women and couples. 

An inspiring international speaker and author, she shares the truths of the uncompromising word of God in love. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, she is able to connect with the audience and encourages them to find and live out their purpose in Christ. 

Marcia is the Director of Calvary Christian Fellowship Women’s Ministry where she serves alongside her husband Pastor Gavin Walker who is the senior Pastor. Through this ministry, she has impacted many ladies. With her love for people and commitment to serving the Body of Christ she leads a dynamic and life changing Women’s Retreat which occurs in May each year. 

A Mental Health professional, Marcia has counseled many individuals and couples in her private practice. She is also the author of a transformative book, “Growing Together- 40 Inspiring Devotions to help you grow closer to God and Each other.” Marcia encourages couples to commit to biblical marriage and provides practical and biblically sounds applications for a growing marriage. 

Marcia has experienced the miraculous power of God in her personal life. She has been blessed with the opportunity to share the life transforming word of God and also present at Mental Health conferences internationally. 

Tamekia MizLady Smith


Tamekia MizLadi Smith is a provocative and accomplished Spoken Word Vocalist and Speaker. Her witty EDUtainment delivery through storytelling and music has proven to be an effective way to convey her mission of educating, empowering and entertaining her audiences.

Tamekia serves on the board of "Dear Poetry” where the mission is to restore communities through the lost art of writing.  Recently Tamekia has been a speaker for Nationwide Children’s 1stAnnual DISCOVERYx event; keynote speaker for the United Way Neighborhood Best Practices Conference and several other events and conferences.  She has been a trainer consultant /mentor for programs such as “Girls in Action”, “Dear Sistah Girlfriend” and the Columbus City Schools.  Tamekia is publishing a book entitled “True Story” which explores the process of overcoming Social Determinants of Health through Mentoring and Creative Arts.

Dr. Maribel Lopez

Dr. Maribel Lopez, Ordained minister, author, and international speaker

Maribel Lopez is passionate about Christ and the way the Lord transforms lives by His

amazing love and healing power. She is a daughter of the almighty, wife, mother, and

grandmother of two precious boys. Her purpose is to empower and help women heal from past

traumas by sharing how she overcame hers. She wants women to be free from shame, guilt,

condemnation and self-destruction, as these were some of the challenges she personally faced.

Dr. Lopez is engaged in community education on women’s ministries, women leadership, early

childhood education, child sexual abuse, substance abuse and domestic violence. Dr. Lopez’s

mission is to promote Excellence: instill in individuals the desire to be excellent in everything

they do.  Foster Leadership: to empower and motivate people to take action.  She

believes Integrity: is an essential ingredient to live a successful life.  Publications: Eternally

Grateful Journal, and Dr. Lopez Quote of the Week (both in Spanish and English) Projects

currently working on, Eternally Grateful Ministries and the Dr. Lopez Scholarship Foundation.
